Find Freedom in the Mountains
Campaign Poster Illustration
Campaign Poster Illustration
This illustration was created as a campaign poster exploring the spirit of adaptive skiing and the idea of freedom, dignity, and resilience in the mountains. The artwork depicts two adaptive skiers, inspired by Paralympic / adaptive sports, presented not as symbols of limitation, but as athletes in motion—strong, focused, and forward-moving.Visually, the piece takes inspiration from 1950s vintage ski posters, translated into a painterly, gouache-inspired digital approach. I focused on maintaining a hand-painted feel through texture, brushwork, and color layering, while keeping the composition clear and poster-like.
Cultural identity is represented through tatreez embroidery integrated into the athletes’ clothing, adding a subtle narrative layer about origin, memory, and resilience without turning the image into a literal or illustrative statement.
