Neurotechnology & Creativity Conference Key Visual

This project was developed through a structured, research-informed process, balancing conceptual exploration with visual clarity. The illustration was designed to function as a key visual, adaptable across digital and print contexts, while maintaining a consistent visual language. Particular attention was given to composition, color harmony, and symbolic elements to ensure the final outcome communicates complex ideas in an accessible and engaging way. All stages shown here represent the iterative nature of the work, from initial sketches to refined color studies and the final illustration.

The work explores how internal processes thoughts, emotions, perception, and cognition can be translated into a visual language that connects the human mind with the external world.

Starting from early sketches and compositional exploration, the process moves through color studies and mood refinement before arriving at the final illustration. Each stage was used to test clarity, atmosphere, and symbolic balance, ensuring the visual could communicate complexity while remaining accessible.
The final artwork aims to reflect discovery, exploration, and the layered nature of creative thought, positioning the brain not only as a biological organ, but as a site of production, connection, and interaction with its surroundings.
